CAPCI supports, educates, and encourages families in their cleft and craniofacial journeys. Your gift supports our team of physicians, clinicians, dentists, social workers, nurses and all who care for these patients as we create a world where individuals with cleft and craniofacial conditions thrive throughout the state of Louisiana.
Our Purpose
Our foundation was created by individuals who participate in the care of cleft and craniofacial families on a daily basis. Our patients come from all parts of the state as well as the gulf coast. All of us have given from our own pockets and our practices to those whose needs exceed their personal ability to provide for their child. By aligning our efforts on a grander scale, we are hoping to be able to assist more families for many years to come.
Our board represents a large network of experienced physicians and healthcare professionals who treat patients from all over the entire gulf coast who have cleft lip and cleft palate as well as other cleft and craniofacial anomalies.
Families and patients affected by cleft, craniofacial, and other congenital abnormalities are affected physically, emotionally, and socially. The needs of these families are not specific to the state of Louisiana and permeate all families from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
That amounts up to hundreds of expensive nipples, medical supplies, and aid to families .
We formed in 2017, and will be around for many years to come.
